This is a blog for Mrs. LaBerge’s first graders. They use their blog to display newsletters, calendars, and upcoming information. There are also links for every subject in her class. The kids can learn online through this website Rock Hound Kids. She is also able to display classroom pictures and other fun stuff from the classroom. Mrs. Lowe’s middle school class loves to blog! Mrs. Lowe posts extra games in math and other subjects for her students to do. She also has “classroom countdowns”, announcements, assignments for students, and also her favorite books she recommends for extra reading. She says that although most of her fellow teachers say blogging is “messy” or “too much work”, she thinks it is a great way to get students to participate.
